Designed to maximize productivity by accelerating throughput, minimizing PCB handling damage and providing superior ESD protection. The 18″ x 26″ footprint handles multiple-sized boards. The ESD-safe SmartTray facilitates efficient tracking of work-in-process and fi nished goods with the use of bar code technology. Molded from Metrostat,™ a material offering premium ESD protection, the SmartTray fits all Metro tray cart systems as well as all competitive bottom-loaded models, and most tray based cart systems in today’s marketplace. The Metro SmartTray ™ System provides a flexible PCB-handling solution, serves to minimize handling damage during assembly, and facilitates more efficient tracking of work-in-process during production.

The first tray-handling cart to offer color-coding capabilities, designed to support a lean manufacturing environment- SmartTrays measure 18″x26″, an industry footprint standard, and have been designed specifically to meet the needs of the electronics production industry. SmartTrays are available with either a premium, rubber inlay that can be used for soldering applications, or an economy, vinyl inlay that provides a soft, non-skid surface.
- SmartTrays are compatible with all tray cart systems currently available in the marketplace, as well as conveyor-based systems.
