1 Volt Resolution.
Most handheld electrostatic fieldmeters are designed for multiple uses. The
same meter you wish to use to assure protection for Class 1 sensitive devices can also be used for monitoring webs of plastic in a converting
application with voltages at 80kV or higher. Now you no longer need to sacrifice resolution for a low cost meter. The Model 282L allows you sensitive, low-voltage measurements with 1 volt resolution and
consistently accurate readings. And the chopper-stabilized circuitry is immune to ionization. Zeroing is
push-button simple. Low cost is designed in too. You cannot afford not to keep the Model 282L handy for:

Accuracy has never come so easily or inexpensively. Converging beams from two LEDs tell you when the
instrument is precisely 1 inch from the target, so reading is an exact indication of the static field being measured, up to ±2 kV. Extended ranges of up to ±8 kV can be measured by increasing the distance to
the target by given amounts and multiplying the displayed reading by 2, 3, or 4. The Model 282L also features a HOLD button to freeze display and automatic polarity detection. The chopper-stabilized design
guarantees accurate readings even in ionized environments.
